Yesterday I sent an email out, and I promised to send a follow up on my personal stats of how I generate $5 for each visitor to my site. But... I forgot to send it yesterday...so here it is today... Anyhow - this is how my conversion rates work -
I get about 3000 unique visits each month from indexarticles.com. I convert about 1/3 of those to subscribers - about 1000 new subscribers per month.
Then I build relationships and trust with those subscribers using my 50 message email autoresponder, in addition to personally answering questions when someone writes (did you know that about 1/3 people who ask me a question via email and I write them back a personal answer, buys something from me? That should tell you alot about how important it is for YOU to be writing people on your list back personally when they have a question, rather than making them go through some ticketing system etc).
And as find out how someone on my list needs help, I offer that help to them (for a fee of course). And these are my conversion rates on sales: I get a conversion rate of approximately 10% of sales out of my subscribers.
For example, with 1000 new subscribers, I generally generate 100 sales, and the average sale is about $150. If you do the math...that is $5 per visitor. How many visits did you get last month? How much revenue did you generate last month?
