What do you think the #1 reason is that people fail at article marketing?
Is it because they don't write enough articles? I read once that the average article marketer writes a total of 7 articles. Do you really think that with 7 articles you are going to become an overnight success? My organization writes 25-30 PER DAY.
Do you think we would write 7 if that was enough? Do you think it is because they don't know how to write good articles? (If they don't they can just take a course and learn, so that really shouldn't hold anyone back. It's not holding you back, is it?)
Do you think it is because they don't know how to write a resource box? (By the way, if you don't know how to write a resource box, keep an eye out from me for an email to show you how).
Ok, here's what I think is the reason: #1 reason most people fail at article marketing: They don't write enough articles. You see, people just give up too easy.
They get distracted by the next latest greatest thing online that promises a flood of traffic. Look, nothing is going to give you a flood of traffic. So stop trying to get a flood of traffic. Instead, focus on really high quality traffic that converts really well.
Which would you prefer?
100 high quality article marketing visits per day, and each visit is worth between $5 and $10 to you? Or a million visits a day of people who don't know who you are and don't care, and aren't going to spend any money with you. I would choose the first option any day of the week.
I would far rather have really high quality article marketing traffic, convert 70% of that traffic into subscribers, then build relationships with those subscribers so that they choose to get all of their online training from me. What about you?
Till tomorrow.
