If you wish to boost your profits online it is imperative that you create a squeeze page. You may find it very difficult to create and build a list in the absence of a squeeze page and you know that the money is in the list.
Some website owners make compromises by putting an opt-in box on the main page of their sites. But how can this ever work with all the other distractions on the page. What you are after is achieving between 30 and 70% of your visitors signing up to your list. With an opt-in box you will be lucky if you get 10% of them.
So what are the basic elements of a squeeze page: Here is a list of the basic parts you need to create a list:
#1 - Find or create your own giveaway product. I would suggest an electronic product of some kind.
#2 - Make a list of at least ten benefits your visitor will receive by signing up for your giveaway.
#3 - Create a headline for the top of the page. This needs to be a compelling headline to entice your reader to opt-in.
#4 - Write some persuasive copy. You are going to have to persuade your visitor to give you their name and email address. You copy needs to make it a no brainer for them.
#5 - Create a set of bullet points. To start with you should create at least ten bullet points and then you can go back and choose the best six.
#6 - Create a compelling opt-in line. This is probably more like a call to action, instructing your visitor what they need to do.
#7 - Copy and paste your code from you auto-responder. This code is what will create the form for your visitors to complete.
