I have recommended that people use article marketing as a way to make money online...they are great for search engines, you can use the content from one article in lots of different ways...so they are a fantastic way to leverage your time by doing the work once and reaping the benefits over and over-for freakin ever really!When I say all that, the next question that people will tend to ask is: What do I write about?
One really cool and easy way to write article is if you do a teleseminar. Of course one of the ways we teach a lot folks how to make money online is by holding teleseminars. Teleseminars are a great medium for expression and sales...and you can turn one teleseminar into several articles based on the points that you covered.
An audio recording is another way you can write articles. Any audio recording you have made, whether it is a radio show, an interview, a podcast, whatever, it could easily be turned into multiple articles. All you do is transcribe it, edit it a little bit, making it more article oriented, article focused in terms of the formatting and submitting it and presto chango. Now you have an article that's written simply from a recording that you made.
One of the best ways to know what to write is to ask your subscribers! Write articles based on the questions they are asking. If you haven't run a survey to your list, asking your subscribers or customers what their biggest questions are, I suggest you start there.
You don't have to be the genius who knows what to write...just ask! Because if your subscribers and customers start asking you questions you can answer them one at a time in your articles. Then you put your articles out there. You, of course, are going to attract more people that are closer to the demographic of people that are all ready proven buyers from you.
If you don't have buyers yet, if you only have subscribers, then subscribers are a great, second best thing. Because if you're getting a psychological, demographic based on people who've all ready been willing to subscribe to your newsletter-chances are good that you want more people like that to subscribe to your newsletter and opt into your list-and remember, how to make money online starts with people getting on your list!
If you don't even have subscribers, the go and look in the forums. You don't have to interact with them...don't try to sell everybody on your stuff. Pay attention to what the real questions are that real people are asking and answer those questions.
So figuring out what to write isn't that tough...it isn't about coming up with a bunch of brilliant ideas. The easiest way is to ask people what they want to learn about or what their problems are and then write an article that helps them solve their problems. Some of that content will come from sources you already have in the form of recordings, teleseminars and the like.***
